Using an 2020 iPad Pro
Raw Point cloud scan of Sea King XZ592, on display at Morayvia . Captured in about the time it takes to walk around the aircraft. Captured using the SiteScape beta app for the 2020 iPad Pro and powered by ARKit4.
Using photogrammetry
70 photos of the same aircraft processed using the free Meshroom program (default settings). About 30 minutes to process. Conclusion, I must take a LOT more photos next time and take a ladder.
Some ok bits, some not so ok bits. A good learning opportunity !
